Over the course of the week Munks and Sutherland will undertake 

the exploration of two processes, composing Acid House music 

and creating Watercolour paintings. The artists will explore the 

cliches of Cornish bohemia and hope to amalgamate the two 

hardcores of creativity that seem to be at a similar point of death 

and strength. Munks and Sutherland will use an open form of 

production, moving between the two processes. This will allow 

for the two creative methods, painting and music production, to 

inform each other, creating a final homogenous conclusion to their 

investigation. The artists aim to make a flaming phoenix of work 

that rises above all challenges.
